I’m a fan of books about the Arthurian legend. I’ve read tons of them. I’m a fan of Meg Cabot and have read many of her books. This book by Meg Cabot about the Arthurian legend ought to be perfect, right? Yeah, not so much. Mildly entertaining but didn’t do a good job at getting the reader to suspend disbelief. I just didn’t buy it. And since I also read fantasy books, it has nothing to do with the story being implausible as much as it has to do with Cabot not writing a plausible implausible story.

Have you read Jack Whyte? He did a series on Arhurian Legend which starts further back, I want to say with Arthur’s grandfather or great-grandfather. Pretty good books. They took me a little while to get in to, but when Misha read them I gave them a second chance. This is the website: http://www.camulod.com/
He has started a new series on the Knights of the Templar
I have been a fan of King Arthur related books since seeing Excalibur back in the day. I have a few shelves of them.
I like Meg Cabot, so will likely read this one, but with a huge suspension of belief. Thank you for the cranium’s up.
