Book Two of the series.
The story gets better and better but the writing stays just as bad, I’m sorry to say. All I can tell you is to read them despite the bad writing. Really, the story is worth it.

The start of another lovely series.
Well, “lovely” might be overstating things a bit.
The story is compelling and has the unusual twist of adding Christianity to the mix as well as a racially diverse cast, though it’s far, far less white than the average vampire novel. I’m already on the second book, “The Awakening.

I loved The Dirty Girls Social Club. It’s one of my favorite books. The sequel takes place several years after the end of the TDGSC. I wish I’d reread the first before this one because I couldn’t remember some of the details.
