I wanted to finish this. Y’all know I love a vampire book. I just couldn’t get more than halfway through this one. The premise was promising: a 500 year old vampire is a movie studio owner and people close to her studio start dying gruesome deaths. So many dead people who are actually vampires and still alive in hiding: Theda Bara, for example. I can’t remember anyone else. Jack the Ripper was a vampire hunter.
It’s just not well written. It’s too bad.
